Question by don1862: With all coverage of 10 missionaries without paperwork, what about all successful missions benefiting Haiti?
It seems like we are so focused on the ten missionaries who did not have proper paperwork to support their work with Hatian orphans, that we we have forgotten about the many Christian groups and missionaries who have devoted themselves for years to helping the Haitian people. There are many Christian groups who run orphanages and successful international adoption ministries in Haiti. I know several families at my church who have successfully adopted children from Haiti and from other countries like China. This is a wonderful blessing for these children, allowing them to be raised in Christian families and lifted out of third world poverty.
